WHAT IS IT?

The “Heart of the KUC” comes from the Kiribati word “buroon te KUC”. It is a reserve fund established to serve as the KUC investment and to assist KUC realizes her major aim in Proclaiming the Word of God.

CHALLENGE

The “Heart of the KUC” reserve fund does not force people to give but asks for extra Christian commitment. Being aware of other financial commitments in our family, church sub-groups, local village and island commitment; it then requires a true heart in giving, where the right hand gives without the knowledge of the left (Matthew 6: 3).

HOW MUCH SHALL I GIVE?

It is not restricted as to how much one should contribute as it is left to the pure heart that desires to worship God (Matthew 5: 8). You may deposit portion of your income weekly, fortnightly, monthly or once a month/year or as one chooses proper.

The account name is “Buroon te KUC”, and account number is 839818, at ANZ Bank (Kiribati) Limited. You may deposit directly to the bank or visit KUC Headquarters Finance Office at Antebuka, Tarawa to make your donation and free-offering.

WHEN TO USE “BUROON TE KUC” RESERVE FUND?

Funds invested will be reserved until such a time when the interest of the principal is enough to assist KUC operation. The KUC General Assembly decides on when to use it. The fund is safe-guarded by KUC (revised) Financial Regulations.
